James Dastra has been an entrepreneur since his graduation from Kutztown University with a Bachelor of Science in Management in 1978. He began his first business upon graduation and has never worked for anyone but himself since. James’ passion for business is only exceeded by his love of aviation. An avid pilot, he is the former President of American Flight Services, a full service FBO in Reading, PA that he started in 1996. 

He has owned and operated a wide variety of businesses ranging from manufacturing to aviation. James is well-versed in almost every facet of the aviation business including FBO Operations, Aircraft Management and Aviation Property Development.  

His clients have ranged from small local companies to world-class corporations including University of Pennsylvania Health Care Systems, Quest Diagnostics, Northrop Grumman Corporation and Atlantic Coast Aircraft Services.
